Torsion springs
Inexal offers single and double winded torsion springs in stainless springs steel EN 10270-3-1.4310. Standard diameters range between 0,4mm and 5mm.
Tip
The lifespan of a torsion spring is directly related to the torque angle it is being used under. Torsion springs being used at their maximum torque angle have an average life expectancy of 10,000 cycles. The same spring used at 80% of the maximum torque angle will last anywhere from 200,000 to 400,000 cycles. Torsion springs used at 70% of their capacity have an almost infinite lifespan.
