Personal information we collect

If we process your personal data, we will always do so in compliance with the applicable legislation: the European AVG or General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, General Data Protection Regulation) which comes into force as of May 25, 2018.

Purposes of processing
We process your personal data only for the following purposes:

      • Preparing an agreement (negotiations, preparing an offer,…)
      • concluding the agreement
      • the delivery of the order
      • deregistration of billing
      • monitoring of payment traffic
      • customer service after execution of the agreement
      • Informing about actions that may complement the agreement we intend to enter into with you.

We may process your personal data for the performance of our agreement.

If the above list is modified, we will notify you in a timely manner.

How long do we keep your data?
We keep your personal data for as long as it is necessary for handling our customer-supplier relationship: for this purpose, we retain your data for 10 years in the context of our customer service after performance of the contract.

Security of your personal data
Access to your data is restricted to our employees and this insofar as they need to have access to your personal data within the framework of a future, current or past cooperation.

Your personal data will be stored on a central computer protected by password, automatic lock, and antivirus and will also be kept in our archives for the purpose of our post-performance customer service.

This archive is only accessible to our staff and only to the extent that they need to have your personal data in the context of a future, current or past cooperation. This archive is kept under lock and key.

We will always do our best to protect your personal data from unwarranted access, use and disclosure: we will use reasonable physical, administrative and industrial security measures such as antivirus, password protection, clean desk policy, locked filing cabinet,…. The efforts we make, we also require from our suppliers.

Transfer of data to third parties/outside the EU
If you subscribe to our newsletter, your data will be transferred to Mailchimp’s server in the United States. Mailchimp stores and processes your data on the basis of the adequacy decision. When you unsubscribe to our newsletter, your data are deleted from Mailchimp’s server.

As a customer, your data is only transferred to third parties when you specifically request it, i.e. in the case of a direct delivery from our supplier Lesjöfors. Lesjöfors is a European (Swedish) company that also processes your data solely within the framework of AVG/GDPR.

Rights

Right of access and inspection
You have the right to learn about your personal data, as well as the use we make of your personal data, at any time free of charge.
Right of rectification, deletion and restriction
You always have the right to ask us to rectify, supplement or delete your personal data. You may also ask to restrict the processing of your personal data.
Right to oppose
You also have a right to oppose the processing of your personal data for serious and legitimate reasons. In addition, you always have the right to oppose the use of personal data for direct marketing purposes; in such case, you do not have to provide reasons.
Right of free data transfer
You have the right to obtain and/or transfer to other controllers your personal data processed by us in structured, common and machine-readable form.
Right to withdraw consent
When processing is based on your prior consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent.

If your data has nevertheless been compromised, we will inform you of this as soon as possible, to the extent possible, and in any case take all necessary measures to prevent further dissemination of your personal data.
